Twist the end of the wiper-stalk clockwise fully, until washer fluid is sprayed onto the rear screen and the wiper move

Pull wiper-stalk towards you until washer fluid is sprayed onto front screen and wipers move

Twist the end of the lighting stalk two clicks anti-clockwise. A green ‘dipped-beam’ warning lamp should be lit on the dash

Press the far right-hand button and a yellow lamp should be lit

Press firmly on either side of the centre area of the steering wheel

Depress or pull either window switch until window is fully open or closed

Press for left-hand button and a yellow lamp should be lit. The fan should be heard clearly

Brakes should not feel spongy or slack. Brakes should be tested as you set off. Vehicle should not pull to one side.

Manufacturer’s guide, use a reliable pressure gauge, check and adjust pressures when tyres are cold, don’t forget spare tyre, remember to refit valve caps.
