Last year 82% of my pupils passed first-time.
With a passion for training people and a love of driving, I decided to combine the two and looked into becoming a driving instructor, offering driving lessons in Middlewich, and surrounding areas.
I founded Turn Wright driving school in 2006 as an independent driving school. Over the years I have helped guide people through their driving experience. I worked in Macclesfield for about twenty years, however after recently relocating to Middlewich I have decided to move my business with me and am now offering driving lessons in Middlewich, Northwich and surrounding areas.
Most people have experienced some form of driving in their life whether as a passenger in a car, driving with a parent or driving with another instructor. My aim is to build on these experiences enabling me to guide you on your way to passing your test.
My aim is to work with you and help you to understand everything about what the car will and won’t do and encourage you to ask questions and learn from any mistakes made.
My average pass rate is 78%, the recommended hours for a learner to achieve test standard will vary from person to person and on their previous driving experience however the DVSA recommends that they do at least forty-two hours.
It is very important for all learner drivers to learn all the Show me, Tell me questions and answers. You will not be asked to answer them all but it is vital to know them all for road safety
- When it’s safe to do so, can you show me how you wash and clean the rear windscreen
- When it’s safe to do so, can you show me how you’d set the rear demister
- When it’s safe to do so, can you show me how you’d demist the front windscreen
- Tell me how you’d check that the brakes are working before starting a journey.
- Tell me how you’d check the brake lights are working on this car.
- Open the bonnet and tell me how you’d check that the engine has sufficient oil.
